CLOUD ICE NINE is a project formed by Obarzanek late 2019 in collaboration with Jim Sellars (Yunzero, Electric Sea Spider), Reis Kara (Exhaust World, Skin Walker) and Joseph Buchan (Other Joe). Reminiscent of new wave and alt-rock scenes of the 80’s, the band utilizes bad synthesizers, funk bass, sax, clarinet, drum machine and dissonant guitars as a backdrop for songs about the apocolypse and a distopian reality.

Ci9’s debut album “8BALL” came out earlier this year through local label ‘Happy Tapes‘.
